Sarah M. AndrewSarah M. Andrew is an Associate Attorney with Schoffstall Elder Law.  Sarah comes to Schoffstall Elder Law after spending several years in solo practice with a focus on elder law issues including estate planning, estate administration, and guardianship.

 

A resident of Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, Sarah received a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Millersville University, and went on to earn her Juris Doctor from DePaul University College of Law in Chicago, Illinois.  Her law school concentration was on public interest law in the areas of public benefits, housing, and legal services.  As a law student, Sarah was chosen for a competitive Public Interest Law Initiative (PILI) internship with the Chicago Area Lawyers’ Committee for Better Housing.  After graduating, she served as Assistant Corporation Counsel for the City of Chicago where she prosecuted housing code enforcement cases and pursued larger community development goals.  A Lehigh Valley native, Sarah moved home with her family in 2011 and established her solo practice with a renewed focus on legal issues affecting the elderly.  She is a member of the National and Pennsylvania chapter of the Academy of Elder Law Attorneys and the Pennsylvania Bar Association Elder Law Section.

 

Sarah enjoys the outdoors and spending time with her spouse, Marc Rittle, their two young children and extended families.  She especially enjoys visiting the many local festivals, seasonal events and destinations that make the Lehigh Valley a great place to live and work.  She currently serves as a Steering Committee member of the United Way Alliance on Aging; as a member of the Lehigh County Aging and Adult Services Advisory Council; and as member of the Board of Directors of New Bethany Ministries in Bethlehem and Community Bike Works in Allentown.
